I would like to thank you for facilitating my move to Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. This is the best job I ever had. The opportunities here are terrific. Placing me as the chair of the firm's intellectual property group in the Orange County office and helping grow the office has been most rewarding.

Your successful and highly effective representation of me is consistent with the three partners you placed with me eight years ago when I was managing partner of the Los Angeles office of Oppenheimer, Wolfe & Donnelly. You demonstrated an ability to get the job done and not oversell. In addition, you have always been very personable and easy to work with.

I would also like to thank you for your tenacity and not giving up on me - even when I kept putting you off over several months. Quite frankly, if it weren't for your persistence and perpetually sunny attitude, I'd probably not have made the move. As you know, leaving McDermott, Will & Emery where I was comfortable and co-chairman of the I.P. group in Los Angeles was not easy. Thank you so much for staying in touch with me. When I casually mentioned to you last year that I had remarried, relocated to Orange County and was commuting several hours a day, you swung into action. Orrick was exactly the right place at the right time. You made it happen.

In short, few, if any legal recruiters in my opinion offer the degree of professionalism, knowledge of the market or effectiveness as you. In addition, you kept everything extremely confidential. I look forward to our continued relationship and Esquire helping us grow with great lawyers.
